Cineplex offers discount tickets for a week

This time of year often has a slump in movie ticket sales. Canada’s largest movie theatre company, Cineplex says it’s putting into effect Tuesday discount pricing for all screenings running now until the end of August.

Movie-goers can expect a 30% off ticket discount during the promotion and Scene members can get an additional 10% savings.

Earlier this month, Cineplex joined several U.S. chains in announcing weaker profits as fewer people filled theatres.
