VIA Rail: Buy Round Trip, Return Ticket is Free Facebook Offer (Jan 10 Only)

VIA Rail is celebrating 50,000 fans on their Facebook Page and is offering a Free return ticket when you buy a round trip ticket on their Facebook Page. This is valid on travel in Economy class on the VIA Rail network across Canada, for travel between January 17 and February 29, 2012 inclusive. This offer is only valid today, January 10, 2012. Please note all the fine print before ordering your ticket.

• Bookings must be made through the booking engine located on the official VIA Rail Canada Facebook page under the “Promotions” tab.
• To obtain your round trip for the price of a one-way ticket, you must book the same Economy class fare on each direction of your round trip. Choose your desired booking class in the “Select class and fare plan” drop-down menu for your chosen departure and your return trip.
• The fare will be automatically adjusted if your trip meets the conditions of this promotion.
• Note that once you begin a transaction through the Facebook booking engine, our system will attempt to apply this special fare to any other trips you may wish to book. If you wish to compare with regular fares, please close your browser completely and begin a new search at viarail.ca.
• Tickets may be picked up at a self-service ticketing kiosk or at a VIA Rail ticket counter.
