Great Mail Day Samplesource Free Fall Sampler Pack but disappointed!

I received my Samplesource Free Fall Sampler Pack in the mail. Actually I got it Friday, but I didn't blog this until today. Some people are still waiting for their boxes so I figured it was worth posting anyway.

Anyway, I gotta be honest, I was disappointed with this season's box. As you all know I stalk the heck out of the Samplesource website, waiting for it to go live so that I can tell you all to GO GO GO and order.

I got my order in moments after 9am ET on the morning it went live, I was probably one of the first people to get it through I was up all night (I always do this on a launch day) waiting. I was offered 14 samples when I ordered, I made a note of this on my original post here. Great right? Well I didn't get many of them, continue to read below.

Here were the samples that I was offered at time that the sampler packs went live:

Don't get me wrong, I am happy to get any samples and I've been ordering and receiving Samplesource sampler packs for many years now, but I am confused by all the missing samples. I noticed many readers were getting boxes with missing samples too, or samples that they did not chose to receive. What's the point of doing a survey if they just pack the sampler boxes with whatever is left over? Of course there were other items that I was not offered that some other people got too (such as Temptations treats or the dog samples (I don't have a dog so this did not apply, Sensodyne mouthwash and other items). Also, when you order doesn't seem to make a difference either, the samples run out as time goes on, but once you get your box you might get less than people who ordered near the end.

Great Mail Day Ferrero Rocher Star Ornament

I had a great surprise great mail day today! I got a Ferrero Rocher Star Ornament!

If you recall this was a contest win from a Flash Giveaway that Ferrero Rocher had on their Facebook Page around Christmas, we blogged the contest here. You had to private message them to enter to win. I didn't receive any kind of indication that I had won so I wasn't expecting this at all.

It came in an unmarked cardboard box, as shown in the image above. It's a cute Christmas ornament plus it also has 3 Ferrrero Rocher chocolates inside!

My boyfriend joked that he does't know how this will last until Christmas!

Great Mail Day Temptations Snacky Mouse, Influenster Loreal Voxbox, Benefit Gimme Brow, Garnier FPC

I've been slacking on the mail day posts lately, here is some of the freebies that I got within the past few weeks or so. I love getting fun things and love when you guys share with us your hauls as well!

Temptations Snack Mouse Cat Toy - This was mail-in offer when you bought and submitted 4 Temptations pouches from products. It includes two Snacky Mouse toys (that you fill with the Temptations treats in hopes that your cats will try and get them out of the little slots) and a bag of Temptations treats. I sent in my request back in the summer and forgot all about it so it was nice to finally receive it. My cat hasn't been too interested in it yet, she is a bit of a fatty so she just likes treats in her bowl and doesn't want to work for it!

Loreal Bright Reveal Influenster Voxbox - Awesome box from Influenster to trial some of the new Loreal Revitalift Bright Reveal products! The box came with four full-sized products including a brightening scrub cleanser, brightening daily lotion, brightening dual overnight moisturizer and brightening peel pads. This was sent to me for free as part of their skincare campaign, click here for more info about this campaign and to sign up for Influenster if you aren't a member yet.

Benefit Gimme Brow - This freebie from Benefit during a sampling program that they had through Topbox includes their Gimme Brow eyebrow gel that acts to sculpt and set your brows with tiny fibers. I've been using this product for years but Benefit recently repackaged all of their brow products. I love how small and cute this is. They gave away 3 different products, I think they chose randomly which one you got.

Garnier Free Product Coupon - I received this Free Product Coupon as a thank you for reviewing their product samples earlier. It is good for one Free full Garner Fructis sized product of my choice (coupon is valid until December 31, 2016).

Great Mail Day Nescafe Samples + Chickadvisor Adrien Gagnon

It was a Great Mail Day for me today! No Samplesource Sampler pack here yet, but I did get some goodies from Nescafe and Chickadvisor! Food samples are the best kind, am I right?

The Chickadvisor box came in a pretty pink box with the Energy food items from their Adrien Gagnon campaign, this included 5 Fudge bars (which is delicious and a meal replacement) and Super Energex shots, which I haven't tried yet. Here is the original post about this campaign.

The Nescafe items are their Sweet & Creamy Sampler Packs! I got three to try out in my coffee. Can't wait to give these a go in the morning.  These look to be sold out at the moment, but they come and go so be sure to look out for our posts on social media for when/if they are back, here is the original Nescafe sampler pack post.
