Target Announces First Wave of 16 Canadian Stores to Close Next Week (March 18-22)
As you all know Target stores are all closing in Canada and they have been liquidating for a couple of months now. Today Target announced the first 16 locations that will permanently close next week! That's right right after next week, these 16 stores are closed (meaning you won't be able to shop there anymore).  The first wave will also eliminate 17,000 jobs.

Employees will be notified about 10 days before the final day of business. Target Corp announced back in January that it will would close all 133 stores, most of which opened in 2013.

Is your store on the list? No Toronto stores yet, yay we can still shop there! As far as the existing stores, I think liquidation is up to 30-50% off regular price right now.

Closing on March 18:
Edmonton (Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre)
Stratford, Ont.
Longueuil, Que.

Closing on March 22:
Chilliwack, B.C.
Cranbrook, B.C.
Calgary (5115 17th Ave. SE)
Medicine Hat, Alta.
Winnipeg (35 Lakewood Blvd.)
Chatham-Kent, Ont.
Kitchener, Ont.
Fergus, Ont.
Burlington, Ont. (2000 Appleby Line)
Niagara Falls, Ont.
Oshawa, Ont.
