If you are a regular on our Facebook page, you may have noticed a decrease in the number of posts that you see on your timeline recently and other changes overall. It's becoming harder and harder to "reach" our readers on Facebook and other pages have felt this as well. Facebook focuses more on advertising and making money than improving their user interface. What is more alarming is the number of Facebook pages that have been removed recently!I am sure you have all heard of one of the biggest and longest running Canadian Coupons and Freebies website, CanadianFreeStuff.com, they recently had their page removed and with no prior warning or explanation! They suspect it is because one of their posts, warning readers of a product recall, had gone viral and that had them flagged. They are still working on figuring out why this happened and more than anything, how to get their over 50,000+ fans back!
As a fellow Facebook page owner, I can tell you getting new likes "fans" is super hard, so when I found out their page was removed, it broke my heart, they had worked on their page for over 5 years and had lots of loyal readers. Let's ban together in the Couponing and Deals community and help them out to get their fans back!
I want to reach out and help out our friends at CanadianFreeStuff.com, please head on over and like their Facebook page here.
